2009 Stats
Distance:
70.3 Mi
Time:

OMG!! While I was updating my workout log, my totals flashed and I saw 70.3! That is my 2009 running total, 70.3! The length of a 1/2 Ironman!! I really have, according to the runs that I log in, run that far!! I am very excited as I just started to run 12/27/08.
Ok, well, I'm just having a moment.... I mean really.... this is really big for me. I ACTUALLY RAN that far!!
Ok, I'll continue to have my moment of running realization... my clarity.
I had a great swim lesson tonight, working on closed fisted crawl drills, finger drag crawl drills, and flip turns, (having a hard time with that, grrrr).
No running for a little while due to my rt pulled ham string.

Hmm, maybe it's a sign that you have a Half Ironman in you! :D Congrats on your mileage milestone, awesome achievement!
I lerve me the 70.3 distance! It does put stuff in perspective.
Flip turns are over rated for open water swimming. A solid open turn, double thumbs up...an no water up the nose.
What a great milestone!
Way to go, and think, that is only the beginning.
:-)
Breathe, sister BREATHE!...
Okay ... now ...
CONGRATS!
Congrats!!!
And I can't do a flip turn to save my life, but if Missy says it's okay - yay!
You're right - I need to put something down and stick to it. If I can do that I'll get into a nice groove.
Awesome job on your mileage! I think you've just inspired me to get a pedometer XD Or use a workout log - what do you use?
Also, if Tundra wants an iPhone she's going about it the right way LOL I'm getting a "cheap" replacement ($60) until my contract is up and I can get a really good deal on a BlackBerry or similar :)
found your blog through missy, thought i'd say hello....nice job on the 70.3, it's always great to realize what you've accomplished...
Definitely scary stuff! And I'm taking care of myself the best I can :) Thank you for the prayers!
They did a CT scan but didn't mention the results - so I assume there wasn't a problem. I'm planning on seeing my primary about an EEG (which was the plan after my first ER visit)and I assume an MRI will be requested. And - though I actually require sedation for it I am hoping for the MRI. I mean, it's my head man - nothing to mess with, you know?
I haven't heard the phrase transient episode - but they didn't say much else either :p
I am doing everything I can to take care of myself though, I promise! I appreciate your concern :)
